Accessibility
We want everyone in Kearney to be able to find out what's happening, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on thecrane308.com and in our newsletter. That means:
- event names, dates, times, places and prices are always text, never only inside an image;
- pages work with a keyboard and a screen reader, with headings, labels and a "skip to content" link;
- text has enough contrast in both light and dark mode, and pages work when zoomed or on a small screen;
- every newsletter has a plain-text version.
Known limits
- Some flyers and logos come from organizers and sponsors, and the text inside those images may not be fully described; the event details are always in the text next to them.
- Payment happens on Stripe's checkout page, and our spam check on forms is Cloudflare Turnstile. Both are run by those companies.
- Pages we link to (organizers, venues, ticket sellers) are outside our control.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site or in the newsletter is hard to use, or you need information in another format, email news@thecrane308.com or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix what we can.
